My first ever home grown ear of corn:
I was thrilled to see it came out even and beautiful, and it was super good!
We stopped at one thrift shop on our trip in Fort Collins, Colorado. They had just opened and we scored a few cheap things. These awesome mugs for $1.50:

Good finds. Glad you are home. I just pickledsome beets last nigt, I can't wait to open up a jar in a few weeks and see how they turned out!
what a beautiful beet! reminds me of a peppermint. So glad we were able to see you guys and that your garden flourished while you were away, I took your advice and hacked back our basil it is filling out beautifully, thanks!
