Drowning in Produce

We pulled everything from the Avery garden because it's getting close to freezing. I've been putting the pumpkins out in the sun to ripen and cure.

Almost all of the winter squash from the Avery garden. Woohoo!

We (Aaron) dug up the peppers that weren't ripe and put them in pots to take home.

They are loaded, but not red yet.

I picked all of the green tomatoes on our large plant and have them ripening.

The smaller plants we pulled up and hung in the garage.

Tomatillos!

The current state of my kitchen counter. And I didn't even take pictures of the bags and bags of peppers we picked. Ay, we have lots of work to do!

I hope you are all drowning in produce as well (but with more time to process than me!).

Beautiful... And crazy. I like to think in 10 or 20 years we'll laugh at this because we will be such experts in putting up. Right now it still leave me a bit flustered.

Wow! I hope you're able to get it all stored! I have a hard time facing a teeny tiny fraction of that! :-)

Totally jealous of all your produce! Next year I will not vacation when I should be planting! Enjoy the rewards of all your hard work!
