Spring!
It's time to start some of the slower growing vegetables. I attended a seed starting class at our local garden store a few weeks ago and learned quite a bit. I am so pleased with this store, they have a huge selection of seeds, potatoes (20 organic varieties!), and I've heard starts later in the spring. It's really made me feel at home to have such a nice store with knowledgeable staff. We are still in Oregon, but the weather is different here, wind is an issue, there are new pests and I didn't even know when our frost date was. They gave out a great handout with many different plants and dates of when to start them inside/outside just for Hood River.

I will do a full seed planting post with all the great tips I learned and I'll show you what Aaron made me for Valentine's Day in a few days once my baby plants are up.

Erin I'm so excited to get a few seeds planted in the ground myself and anxious to learn any tips you might share. Happy planting!
