Well I can see I've found an expensive, yet satisfying new hobby. $60 later and I have some beautiful yarn that I'm excited to work with. I'm going to try some new things, so I will need some coaching before I'm ready. I love this mauve yarn, I got it in two shades and I'm planning on knitting it side by side into a cabled hat. We will see how that goes, since I've never used a pattern, never knit in the round or with two strands.
I am planning on making a scarf with this. I got a pattern that I like, but since I don't know how to read patterns yet...I might just knit it. It depends how impatient I get. It should turn out striped, so that should be cool. I wish I just knew how to do it all!
