Well I drove to Eugene the other morning, of course the only really icy morning that we've had, and it was icy for sure. I slid my way down I-5 and made it early for my placement exam for Lane Community College. When I went to check in I was informed that I needed to pay first, so I went out to pay for the test only to realize the cashiers opened at the same time I was supposed to take the test.
me: "Can't I just pay after I take the test?"
them: "Oh no, we can't do that"
me: "Ooo-kay"

So I waited, paid my fee and then went back to the testing office where I was told that they were having technical difficulties with their server. Their regular tech guy was home sick, and they could only log on to one computer, and someone else was already taking the 2 hour test. Long story short I began my test about an hour and a half late, but it all turned out alright because I got the best possible score that I could have gotten!!! I'm hoping this is a guaranteed in, or at least a spot on the alternate list. I'm thinking that moving out to Minnesota for a year to be with Aaron sounds nice, and if I get on the list I am guaranteed in next year. That would offset us both being in school at the same time and allow me to help Aaron through school and get to see some cool stuff in a different part of the country. So many unknowns in the next few months! I have to get up early early tomorrow to take my car in for an overdue tune up. Lately all I want to do is sleep in, it just feels like such a luxury!
