Saturday morning I drove up to Longview, Washington to spend a few days with Megan and her family at her mom's house. Jim made us a wonderful stir fry dinner the first night. It was nice to hang out and play games.

Her mom's house was really cute. This is Lily in the window sill.

Stephanie treated us with Biore pore strips...these work so much better than they used to! I returned a few unwanted gifts and got some of these for myself. So instantly satisfying to pull all that crap out of your pores! I look like a psycho because Megan was stroking my arm like a creep.

I became part of the traditional Christmas pyramid. Debbie wouldn't climb on because of an injured knee. I think she could have sucked it up a little for history's sake. It turned out well none-the less. Way to go Katie being a good sport while not feeling good!

I drove to my parents on Christmas eve and went for a walk in a neighborhood near their house and lo and behold stumbled upon 3 peacocks at the top of a hill. I was totally kicking myself for not having my other camera with me, I think I could have gotten some good shots. Oh well, at least they aren't marbled murrelets or anything.

Dad decided we needed a Christmas picture around 10 pm when mom and I were ready for bed. Thanks dad.

Christmas snow!!!!

The tree Aaron and I helped decorate a few weeks ago.

My special homemade graham cracker star. It was delicious.

I have an application due on the 8th. I hope I can get it all done. This is a bad time of year to try and get a hold of people that work in places like schools and dental offices, or anywhere probably.
On the exciting front...Aaron and I are going to the Yucatan in April! I can not wait. I get so antsy not having a trip planned. We thought we weren't going to get to go anywhere for a while, but Aaron has a 2 week break, and hopefully I will be done taking classes at that point. This trip also just so happens to fall on our two year anniversary, so that is exciting too. I'm not sure what we are going to do yet, rent a car? Drive to Belize? Try and get around by cab/bus? I have some books in the mail so I can start planning!
