Day 2 in Minnesota

After Aaron got home from class we decided to explore a bit. These pictures are backwards because I am still getting used to this program. We stopped at this place called...Piece of Cake? Something like that for sweets. The cupcake was not that good, however the prices were reasonable and the cherry bar was delicious.

We stopped by this huge church in St. Paul. Honestly I do not know the name of this church, my dad suggested maybe it was St Paul...interesting thought. However they had an area talking about Archbishop John Ireland, cathedral founder. This church seems like it's from an era before his life span though, 1838-1918. Anyway it's quite impressive and we wandered around for a bit. I am always amazed at the amount of detail and money that goes into a large religious building such as this.

I wish we had stopped in here, next time. If you've seen A Prairie Home Companion you might recognize this diner.

We weren't sure what this smoke stack was for, electricity maybe?
