Aaron headed home at 6:30 this morning, and just arrived actually, after one missed flight and 15 hours later. We are hoping his luggage made it and that his car starts, but I'm a little doubtful. At least he parked somewhere were they'll give him a jump. I'm so glad he made it home safe, and it's back to work for him tomorrow!

Early Christmas
Aaron has been working at UPS and really likes it, but it's super physical. So when he hurt his shoulder last week (off the job) and the doctor told him he had to take 2 weeks off, I suggested he use some of our miles to come home for a bit after his finals were over. So he took his finals early on Monday, and flew out Tuesday. It was kind of a whirl wind trip since I had to work and there were a lot of people to see. I left work early on Friday and after helping Aaron push the borrowed '85 Porche to the side of my driveway after it decided not to start, we headed to Salem. We visited my best friend from high school/college, Amber. It was really good to see her as it had been years. Then we went to my parents for dinner and helped them put up their tree.
This tree came from our vineyard, so it wasn't absolutely perfect, but it was decent and has a really pretty bluish color to it.
My mom placing the woodpecker ornament that we got them in Minnesota.
We went up to Portland on Saturday to meet up with some of Aaron's college friends. It was so nice to walk around and window shop. We got home late and then stayed up watching Ratatouille, which is seriously so good! I got these little finger puppets for Aaron's family to put on the outside of the present. They were a total hit and I could not stop taking pictures of them everywhere! Sunday we walked around downtown Corvallis, got a few last minute gifts and then headed to Albany for early Christmas II.

We had dinner and then looked at his parents pictures from their recent trip to China. It was a lot of fun, especially the uncontrollable laughter at dinner, I was crying! And his dad was trying to tell a story...his sister and I could not get it together. I love this family photo with the puppets. I think I will be taking a few of those on my next adventure.
