Christmasing

I've been going back to my crafty roots lately and it feels so good. I missed that creative outlet. I think I'm even going to start batiking again, something I haven't done since high school. Megan came for a sleep over last night and she made these wonderful mushroom ornaments out of aluminum. I wanted to make Megan something for Christmas, and I had decided I would make her some notecards from my pictures a few weeks ago, but I hadn't done anything for it until the night before she got here. Luckily they were super easy and I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Some of my favorite ornaments from this year: Aaron's parents got me this red onion I'd had my eye on.
I got this wonderful frog for Megan:

And Aaron got me this avocado when I was visiting him.

Here is my little tree minus the awesome purple star Megan fashioned for it last night.

I'm headed up to Washington tomorrow to stay at Megan's mom's house. All the sisters will be there, so it's looking to be a huge slumber party, I can't wait. I'm ready for Christmas and a 4 day weekend! Thanks Jesus!

Wow, you've really been hard at work over there, it looks like you are having a lot of fun. Keep up the craftiness, it's wonderful.
